Fast casual concept to celebrate grand opening in Victoria on November 18, offering free chicken salad for a year

VICTORIA, Texas, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicken Salad Chick, the nation's only fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept, announced today the opening of a new restaurant in Texas, located at 9109 N Navarro Street in Victoria Retail Village. The local community is invited to celebrate this grand opening on Wednesday, November 18 when the first 100 guests in line will win free chicken salad for a year*. 

During the grand opening week, guests can expect to experience the Southern hospitality Chicken Salad Chick is known for while taking advantage of various specials and giveaways. These include:

Chicken Salad Chick of Victoria is owned and operated by first-time franchise owner, Tanya Johnson. A lifelong resident of Victoria and active member of the Riverside Church, Johnson spent 33 years working in a local dental office before pursuing franchise ownership. Ironically, she wasn't a big fan of chicken salad prior to trying Chicken Salad Chick in 2023. Not only did she fall in love with the food, but was drawn to the restaurant's welcoming atmosphere and resonated with the brand's mission to "Spread Joy, Enrich Lives and Serve Others®." She had been searching for a meaningful career that would allow her to give back to her fellow residents, so she and her husband, Lewis, jumped at the opportunity to become franchise owners. The Johnsons believe their strong work ethics, community ties and passion for serving others will help make Chicken Salad Chick of Victoria a neighborhood favorite. Their oldest daughter, Alyssa, will also serve as the restaurant's general manager.
