West Palm Beach-based non-profit seeks donations to provide financial assistance to residents displaced by the November 1 tragedy.
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Emergency Assistance Foundation (EAF), a non-profit organization headquartered in West Palm Beach, has launched the People First Fund for Green Acres Mobile Home Community Learjet Crash to provide direct financial assistance to individuals and families displaced by the devastating November 1 aircraft crash in Palm Beach County, Florida.
The tragedy claimed the lives of all nine people aboard the aircraft and forced hundreds of residents in the Green Acres Mobile Home Community to evacuate their homes. As families face displacement, limited access to essential belongings, and uncertainty about when they will be able to return home, EAF is mobilizing support to help alleviate the financial burden.
The fund will assist eligible individuals and families who resided in the Green Acres Mobile Home Community at the time of the incident. The community, also known as Cresthaven Mobile Home Park or Green Acres Mobile Estates, is located at 3033 South Military Trail in Palm Beach County.
"This tragedy has struck close to home for all of us at EAF," said Doug Stockham, President of Emergency Assistance Foundation. "As a global public charity headquartered right here in Palm Beach County, we recognize the importance of coming together to support our neighbors during an incredibly difficult time. Our team has the experience and infrastructure to help get meaningful financial assistance directly into the hands of those who need it most, and we are calling on caring donors to help make that possible."
