FGQE will begin trading on the TSX today.

As of September 10, 2026, Fidelity's ETF assets under management have reached $41 billion. The suite includes Fidelity All-in-One ETFs: FEQT, FGRO, FCNS, FBAL, FCIP and FFIX.

Why FGQE?

  • A core global equity solution that combines diversified global equity exposure with Fidelity's quantitative investing expertise.
  • A cost-effective, actively managed global equity solution that may serve as a diversified, core portfolio holding.

"Fidelity's quantitative capabilities have a long-standing, data-driven research approach, and now investors and advisors have access to the team's brilliance through Fidelity Global Quant Equity ETF," said Kelly Creelman, Executive Vice President, Products and Innovation, Fidelity. "For those looking for a cost-effective global investment solution, we're offering this strategy, which is backed by hundreds of dedicated quantitative investment professionals and decades of experience."

How do ETFs with an actively-managed quantitative investing approach fit into a portfolio?

  • Quantitative strategies use a data-driven approach to identify favorable investments.
  • By evaluating thousands of data points, quantitative strategies can uncover opportunities that may be difficult to identify through traditional research alone.
  • These strategies can complement a portfolio by identifying opportunities that are not part of passive or traditional active strategies.
