Oh Ship! Adopts Beetronics Touchscreens to Fix Durability Problems at Retail Checkout
Claymont, United States - November 7, 2026 / Beetronics Inc. /
Oh Ship!, a technology-driven shipping and business services retailer based in Tamarac, Florida, has standardized on Beetronics touchscreen monitors for its front-counter point-of-sale (POS) operations, replacing displays that failed to hold up under the demands of daily commercial use.
The setup pairs a Beetronics 22TS7M 22 inch touchscreen for store associates with a compact 12TS7 12 inch touchscreen positioned on the customer side of the counter, giving each party a dedicated interactive interface during transactions.
Oh Ship! offers shipping, printing, mailbox, notary, and related business services. The front counter functions as the central hub for package processing, payment transactions, and customer requests, making dependable touchscreen hardware a key component of day-to-day operations.
Prior to adopting Beetronics, the company sourced displays from other vendors but encountered durability problems that ultimately required those screens to be pulled and replaced. Given the volume of interactions handled at the counter throughout each business day, Oh Ship! required a more durable solution capable of sustaining continuous use in a high-traffic retail setting.
The company selected two Beetronics models to address the distinct requirements of its associate and customer-facing workstations.
The Beetronics 22TS7M serves as the primary associate POS display. Its 22-inch screen gives staff a spacious interface for navigating shipping and transaction software while simultaneously assisting customers at the counter.
On the opposite side of the counter, the Beetronics 12TS7 operates as a dedicated customer-facing touchscreen. Its 12-inch format allows customers to interact with the checkout interface directly while leaving counter space available for packages, payment equipment, and other retail hardware.
Both displays are constructed for continuous operation and repeated touch interaction. Industrial-grade build quality, impact-resistant tempered glass front panels, and projected capacitive touch technology make them suited to commercial environments where screens are engaged frequently by both employees and customers throughout the day.
"We first bought screens from other vendors, but the quality didn't hold up to daily commercial use, and we had to pull them out and replace them. Since switching to Beetronics, the displays have been noticeably better built and more reliable. That matters enormously when a screen runs all day and customers rely on it. That reliability is why we standardized on Beetronics displays at the counter," said Keenan Singh, Owner of Oh Ship!
The installation reflects how POS touchscreen monitors can serve distinct functions within the same retail environment. By separating the associate workstation from the customer-facing display, Oh Ship! provides each user with an interface tailored to their specific role in the transaction process.
The larger associate display supports daily POS and shipping workflows, while the smaller customer touchscreen creates a separate interaction point without consuming unnecessary counter space. Deploying two different screen sizes from within the same Beetronics product range also allows the company to maintain a consistent hardware platform across its checkout area.
The transition to Beetronics has addressed the durability concerns that arose with the retailer's previous displays, establishing a more resilient touchscreen configuration for ongoing retail operations. The deployment shows how commercial touchscreen technology can be integrated across both operator workstations and customer-facing checkout systems, giving retailers flexible display configurations built for frequent, sustained use.
