VERONA, Italy, April 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- After announcing its entry as a partner of the 2026 Verona Summer Theater festival, Pasqua Wines, the Verona-based winery renowned for its iconic award-winning wines, reaffirms its deep connection to wine, culture, and its hometown at Vinitaly, one of the world's leading wine and spirits exhibitions, taking place in Verona from April 12 – 15, 2026.
The winery will be present both at the exhibition center and across the city, engaging diverse audiences through a curated calendar of experiences that blend winemaking expertise with contemporary artistic expression.
At the heart of this initiative is "Sips of Art. When Fine Wine Meets Art," a multi-day program launching April 10 with the public opening of Resonance, an immersive installation by artist Sara Ricciardi at Palazzo Maffei Museum. Visitors can explore the intersection of architecture, sensory perception, and storytelling while tasting selected Pasqua wines, including 11 Minutes Rosé and Cecilia Beretta Valpolicella Superiore Mizzole.
On the same evening, Pasqua partners with Italian fashion designer Antonio Marras for "I Fiori", a special event combining fashion and wine, featuring a curated display of iconic designs alongside 11 Minutes Rosé and Cascina San Vincenzo Valpolicella Ripasso.
Over the weekend (April 11 – 12), Pasqua presents the third edition of Book Tasting, an intimate series of conversations pairing literature and wine. Hosted at Galleria d'Arte Moderna Achille Forti, the program invites authors and wine experts to explore the cultural narratives behind both disciplines in an engaging and accessible format.
Throughout the weekend, Pasqua will host guided tours and tastings at the Scavi Scaligeri. Visitors can discover the beautifully restored site and the Winter Games photography exhibition, followed by a tasting of PassioneSentimento Rosso and Cecilia Beretta Soave Brognoligo, led by members of the Pasqua team.
Pasqua will take part in two masterclasses at Vinitaly:
- Monday, 13 April – The winery will participate in a Gambero Rosso masterclass at Pavilion 9, Stand C16 (12:30 PM – 1:30 PM), titled "Passiti a confronto: Sangue d'Oro and the artisanal interpretations of a great wine of Pantelleria." Led by Giuseppe Carrus, the session will explore Sangue d'Oro, the winemaking project created by Carole Bouquet and added to Pasqua's portfolio in 2025, alongside a selection of standout Zibibbo wines from Pantelleria. The tasting will highlight how producers are blending traditional drying techniques and heritage practices with contemporary winemaking approaches.
- Tuesday, 14 April – Sangue d'Oro will also feature in a Grand Tasting in the Sala Argento at the Palaexpo (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM). Led by Ian D'Agata, Maddy Jimerson MS, and Andrea Gualdoni, the session – titled "From Pinot Noir to Monica, from Bellone to Cabernet Sauvignon, from Barolo to Amarone, via Germany and China" – will position the wine within a broad international context, giving trade attendees the chance to benchmark it against a diverse range of styles and regions.

Internationally recognized as a producer and ambassador of prestigious wines from Italy's Veneto region, the company's ambition is to carry forward a century of winemaking expertise into the future through a renewed stylistic vision. Today, President Umberto Pasqua leads the company alongside his sons: Riccardo Pasqua, CEO, Alessandro Pasqua, Vice President North America, and Andrea Pasqua, Head of Business Development.
With the third generation actively involved in the company, Pasqua has evolved into the House of the Unconventional - a research-driven laboratory and a space for dialogue, where quality and creativity take center stage. In its centenary year, Pasqua has been selected by winemaker Charles Smith as the global distributor of the House of Smith portfolio, including K Vintners, Sex, and Real Wine, in which Pasqua also holds a minority stake. Also in 2025, the Veronese winery invested in the Pantelleria-based wine project of actress and international style icon Carole Bouquet, acquiring an ownership stake and combining enological vision with the preservation of the island's cultural heritage.
